I am an international student, I’ve beed in the US for 5 years. I am not a resident or a citizen, I have a student visa.
do you know if there is a bank that would give me a credit card?

            I doubt it, unless you got a secured credit card. You would have to have a certain amount held in escrow in your savings account, the amount would be the limit on your credit card. They would not just give you a credit card for fear that you might return to your country of origin. They would have no recourse to collect their money.

            Mostly likely not. You need to present valid information such as a US Drivers license, as well as give a US address to get a bank account. Normally I think that they only give credit cards to citizens, or legal residents.

            The best deal is to go to your home country, get a credit card from there, and than bring it over here to use it.

            Easiest way is to ask your local bank. I suggest going to a big chain such as Wells Fargo, as they are World Wide based.

            I took care of a girl going to the University in my town in USA,she had to get credit cards from her country!
